shamba (meaning; ‘small farm’ in swahili)

the link to east africa is through matthew - john & wendy’s son & rebecca’s brother who lived in kenya and tanzania for many years working closely with coffee farmers.

The Shamba has been converted from an old barn into a comfortable, much larger holiday home.
The tiled floors with underfloor heating throughout, ensure that this cottage is as cosy as all the others.
With views across the unspoilt farmland, the single storey barn conversion has a light and spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living room. The kitchen is well equipped with all you will need including a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The dining table with 6 chairs enables you to host meals comfortably and the kitchen units are stocked with more than enough saucepans and crockery for your stay.
The patio door leads out onto your own private patio with only the stock proof fence separating it from the adjacent field.
In the lounge area, there are two leather sofas set around a coffee table with a large LED TV on the wall.
The main bedroom has a king size bed with luxurious 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, a walk in wardrobe, television, bedside tables with lamps and a cheval mirror. The second bedroom has two twin beds which can be zipped together to become a super king size bed, a walk in wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers.
Free wifi, luxurious bedding and towels are all provided. The wet room has a large rain shower, heated towel rail, vanity unit and toilet.
Provisions supplied; all cleaning materials, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper, cling film, fairy washing-up liquid, soap, shower gel, bath soak.
The accommodation is completely on one level making it suitable for a family with an elderly relative.
Well behaved dogs accepted by arrangement at £20 each dog.
