Burghley Horse Trials
September 2nd 2010
The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials (2-5 September 2010) is the première equestrian and social event in the international sporting calendar. Set in the stunning parkland of Burghley House, Stamford the Horse Trials is an unforgettable Event for all to enjoy.
Burghley is home to one of only five 4* Three-Day Event competitions in the world; a sport that is designed to be a complete test of horsemanship. The competition begins with Dressage on Thursday and Friday. Saturday offers the thrill of Cross Country and Sunday’s Show Jumping brings the Trials to a nail-biting finalé.

Amid the mounting tension and excitement of the competition there are over 600 exquisite hand-picked trade stands and foodstalls to explore. With shops ranging from London’s Bond Street to bespoke country tailors, the eclectic selection of luxury gifts, jewellery, equine products, fine arts and beautifully crafted products present a wealth of choice for everyone. ‘Foodies’ can indulge in the diverse and mouth-watering medley of local and international goods at the specialist foodstalls.
Challenge the latest vehicle developments on the Land Rover Terrapod, test your dog’s versatility at the Pedigree® Dog Agility, or meet up with friends for a picnic while you watch the live drama of the competition unfold on one of the giant screens situated around the Park.
